Musicians don’t stop because live shows do. Through wars, pandemics, isolation and suchlike, the music plays on. Because that’s what we musicians do. It keeps us sane.
So I took the opportunity in my studio during Sydney’s lockdown, to lay down tracks for my latest CD Piano Boogie Woman.
Following 2 weeks in Auckland Hotel Isolation, I finished the recordings at the Boatshed Studios in Tauranga and have now released the cd after a 22-date concert tour with my trio of the North Island throughout October 2020.
